
Mobile operator Three has slashed the cost of two of its 4G Ready Sony smartphones until the end of January.
The Sony Xperia Z1 and Sony Xperia Z Ultra get their upfront costs reduced by £30 in what’s being called the “Sony smartphone sale”.

Sony Xperia Z1 : 4G Ready smartphone
The 5 inch Xperia Z1 is priced on monthly contract from £34 a month with an upfront cost of £19 (was £49) which bags you 500 minutes, 5000 texts and unlimited mobile data. Three will also upgrade the Xperia Z1 and the Z Ultra (below) with a firmware update to provide 4G connectivity at no extra cost.

Sony Xperia Z Ultra : 4G Ready phablet
The 6.4 inch Xperia Z1 Ultra is priced on monthly contract from £34 a month with an upfront cost of £69 (was £99) and comes with 500 minutes, 5000 texts and unlimited mobile data. The Xperia Z Ultra is the world's first waterproof phablet and also comes with 4G connectivity.
