Overview

Different networks have different prices, allowances and extras, so the only way to know for sure that you’re getting the best deal is to compare them.

And that’s where we come in. We compare every UK network, so you can see at a glance what your phone or contract of choice costs on each of them.

We also compare devices from every manufacturer offered on the networks, so whatever handset you’ve got your eye on we can dig up the best deals on it. Spending just a few minutes here could save you a lot of money on your next phone contract.

Why choose a contract phone?

Getting a phone on contract is an affordable way to get a new handset, as rather than paying hundreds of pounds upfront for a handset you can spread the cost over the length of the contract, paying for it alongside your monthly allowance of minutes, texts and data.

In many cases this means you can get a shiny new smartphone with no upfront cost at all, and doing it this way often isn’t any more expensive overall than paying upfront, in fact often it’s cheaper, you just have to find the best deal – which is what we’re here for.

Which phone should I choose?

There are a lot of factors to consider, but the two main ones are price and operating system. For the latter, you generally have a choice of Android – which must smartphones run, iOS – which is used by Apple’s iPhones, and Windows – which is used by Lumia handsets and a few other devices.

It’s also worth considering which features of a phone are most important to you – whether you want a good camera for example, or long battery life. Or maybe you want lots of power, plenty of storage or a big screen. Top-end handsets tend to offer most or all of those things, but if you’re looking to spend less you’ll want to prioritize.

What are the latest phones?

Some of the latest phones include the brilliantly powerful and stylish iPhone 7, the curved-screen Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and the flagship Sony Xperia XZ.

Those are all high-end handsets. If you’re after something more mid-range recent highlights include the great-value OnePlus 3T and the Moto G4 Plus. While at the low-end there’s the likes of the Moto E3 and the ZTE Blade V7 Lite, all of which are well worth a look.
