The Netgear Nighthawk M3 is a mid-range Netgear mobile broadband device, bridging the gap between the 4G Netgear Nighthawk M1, and the flagship Netgear Nighthawk M6.
Like the M6, this is a 5G device, but the M3 has slightly slower maximum 5G download speeds of 2.5Gbps. In practice though, this is unlikely to make a noticeable difference – especially as you won’t be achieving the max speeds on the UK’s networks anyway, and the Netgear Nighthawk M3 comes in at a lower price.
Available on O2, this also has a 2.4-inch colour screen, so you can see things like its remaining battery life and how many devices are connected. Speaking of which, the Netgear Nighthawk M3 can get up to 32 devices online, and it has a battery life of up to 13 hours.
It also has two antenna ports, allowing you to enhance reception when coverage is limited, and there’s a USB-C port for ultra-fast wired connections. When using it for wireless connections, the Netgear Nighthawk M3 has a 1,000 square foot range, and it’s designed to work in 125 countries, so you’re not limited to UK usage.
