Get EE home broadband for just £1 per month

13th August 2015

£1 won’t even buy you a coffee, but it will buy you a month of EE home broadband, in fact thanks to a new offer you can now get EE home broadband for just £1 per month for the first year.

Not only that but you also get the company’s award winning Bright Box router thrown in, plus 12 months of Norton Online Security to keep you protected when using the web.

After the first 12 months it goes up to £9.95 per month, but it’s only a 12 month contract, so if you’re not happy with paying more you’re not tied into anything after the introductory offer.

You will still be paying line rental of course, which comes in at £16.40 per month, but that’s unavoidable with most broadband providers and even then you can save a little money, as it’s just £13.75 per month if you pay 12 months upfront, for a cost of £165 overall.

As well as a low monthly price EE broadband also includes inclusive weekend calls to all UK landlines and as an EE customer you’ll get Wembley benefits, including the ability to buy tickets before they go on general sale.

The offer is only available until the 31st of October, but if you’re already tied into a contract with someone else EE will cover up to £100 of early termination fees if you make the switch, so it could still work out as great value.

If there’s any real downside to the offer it’s that it’s only available with EE’s standard up to 17Mbps broadband, rather than its 38Mbps or 76Mbps packages, but that’s still fairly fast and you get unlimited downloads.
