The BlackBerry Q10 is BlackBerry’s latest and greatest QWERTY handset. In other words if you like BlackBerry and you want a phone with a keyboard then this is the best option out there. It looks high quality too thanks to a glass weave back plate and a metallic strip between each row of keys.

BlackBerry Q10 Intro
The BlackBerry Q10 has a 3.1 inch 720 x 720 Super AMOLED touchscreen with a pixel density of 328 pixels per inch. That’s small, as you might expect given that the phone has to fit a QWERTY keyboard in too, but it’s still perfectly big enough to use the touchscreen on.
The BlackBerry Q10 is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and 2GB of RAM, which are reasonable specs and the best you can get on a BlackBerry.
It has 16GB of storage built in and there’s a micro SD card slot on top of that, which supports cards of up to 64GB.
With BlackBerry 10 on board this is an up to date handset and it also includes an 8 megapixel camera, the ability to shoot videos in 1080p at 30fps and a secondary 2 megapixel front facing camera which can record in 720p, making it ideal for video calls.
The BlackBerry Q10 has a 2100 mAh battery, which promises standby time of up to 360 hours or talk time of up to 13 hours and 30 minutes. It supports Ultrafast 3G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC.
BlackBerry Q10 Release Date & Price
The BlackBerry Q10 is out now and can be found SIM free in black or white from around £430. That’s roughly the same price as an HTC One or Samsung Galaxy S4, so the BlackBerry Q10 is aiming for the very top end of the market. However it’s the only top end QWERTY handset available and one of only two top end BlackBerry phones (the other being the BlackBerry Z10), so those are two major selling points.
On a 24 month 4G contract it can be had on EE for £41 a month with a one off charge of £49.99. On Vodafone it’s available for free from £38 per month and on O2 it can be yours with no upfront cost for £42 per month.
24 month 3G plans start from around £29 per month with the handset included at no extra charge.
