Nokia Lumia 925 – 4G Phone

The Nokia Lumia 925 is a high end handset in the Lumia range, taking most of the good things from the Nokia Lumia 920 and packing them into a premium shell, with metallic edges and more muted colours which leave the handset looking good, but like the odd one out amongst other Lumia’s.

Nokia Lumia 925

The Nokia Lumia 925 has a 4.5 inch 768 x 1280 AMOLED display with a pixel density of 332 pixels per inch. That’s pretty good all in all and it’s further improved by Nokia’s ClearBlack technology which improves the contrast of the screen and reduces reflections.

The Nokia Lumia 925 has a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM, which is more than enough to run Windows Phone 8 smoothly.

It has 16GB of built in storage, though there is also a 32GB version available exclusively on Vodafone. Unfortunately neither version of the handset has a micro SD card slot, so that’s all you get.

Its 8 megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens and dual-LED flash is capable of taking some very impressive shots by smartphone standards and it also has a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera and can shoot 1080p video at 30fps. While it’s now been topped by the camera in the Nokia Lumia 1020, the Nokia Lumia 925 is still one of the better camera phones on the market.

It has a 2000 mAh battery, which gives it a reasonable battery life but you’ll probably be charging it every night unless you really only use it for texting and the occasional call. The Nokia Lumia 625 supports Ultrafast 3G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 3.0 and NFC.

Nokia Lumia 925 Release Date & Price

The Nokia Lumia 925 is out now in black, white and grey. It’s available SIM free from around £350, which puts it in competition with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and the HTC One Mini.

On EE it will cost you from £41 per month and O2 charge £37 per month to net the Lumia 925 without any upfront cost. Remember too that Vodafone is the only network to offer a 32GB version.
