[caption id="attachment_729" align="aligncenter" width="300"]LG Optimus G Pro LG Optimus G Pro[/caption] LG has officially unveiled  two new 4G Optimus phones that continue the line of the very well received Optimus series of smartphones. There are quite a few in the series already such as the LG Optimus 2x, LG Optimus 3D, LG Optimus Me, LG Optimus G and a few more too.   The two new 4G enabled phones are the LG Optimus G 4G LTE and the LG Optimus G Pro. The original LG Optimus G was launched back in August last year and the range continues to be extended by LG.

The Optimus G Pro is an Android smartphone aimed at the high-end of the market and should be classed as a premium smartphone.   The Optimus G Pro is powered by the Qualcomm 1.7HGz Quad-Core Snapdragon mobile processor coupled to 2GB of Random Access Memory. The on-board memory is confirmed as 32GB plus the option to expand this via the microSDXC card up to 2TB. The main camera is listed as 13 megapixels which seems to be the entry level for a 4G smartphone these days.   The LG Optimus G Pro is another 4G phone that we are looking forward to carrying out our LG Optimus G Pro Review - as soon as we can get a review copy. The G Pro will launch in Japan in April with it going on sale in the UK around May time.

So basically, you can call it an upgrade from 3G to 4G. This is perfectly understandable when you have a popular handset like the Optimus G.   The specification for the LG Optimus G 4G LTE is that it comes with Android 4.1 ( Jelly Bean ) 3G, 4G and WiFi connectivity and Near Field Communication ( NFC ).   The display screen features a 4.7 inch True HD IPS+ display running a display resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels whilst the main camera is 13 megapixels. The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdraon Quad-Core mobile processor running at 1.5GHz and coupled to 2GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board memory.   We are interested to see the 4G version of the original LG Optimus G to undertake our review so we can see exactly how much faster this is over the 3G version.
