Nokia Lumia 1520 and 1320 : Two New 4G Phones Unveiled
Nokia has announced two new Lumia smartphones today and they are the long awaited Nokia Lumia 1520 and the Nokia Lumia 1320. We all knew the Lumia 1520 was coming today, but the arrival of the Nokia Lumia 1320 came out of the blue. Nokia managed to keep that under-wraps from everyone.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 is a high end smartphone whilst the Lumia 1320 is a more affordable smartphone with a lower specification which is reflected in the price. The Nokia Lumia 1520 will be in direct competition with the Apple iPhone 5S, Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One among others.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 will be priced around £464 whilst the Nokia Lumia 1320 will cost around £210 but these are yet to be confirmed.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 will be the first to be available to buy in the last quarter of 2013 whilst the Lumia 1320 will come in the first quarter of 2014.

Of course, now that the Lumia 1520 and 1320 have been announced the question some may be asking is which one should I choose ? Well the specification summary gives most of what you may need to make a decision.
We feel the driving factor is price and what features you need and don't need. The Nokia Lumia 1520 costs a whole £470 compared to just £210 for the Lumia 1320. The difference in price reflects the specification variation between the two.
The extra £260 for the Nokia Lumia 1520 brings a much improved display with a PPI of 367, a quad-core processor over a dual core, extra RAM and ROM but maybe the most significant difference is the 20 megapixel Pureview camera that comes with the 1520.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 arrives before the 1320 so we foresee many people choosing the Lumia 1520 in the rush before Xmas but we also think the Lumia 1320 will add to impressive sales fiqures, which by then, will have been achieved by the Lumia 1520.
