New 4G Tablet : The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE

17th December 2012

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE

EE ( which owns Orange and T-Mobile ) has added another 4G tablet to its impressive range of 4G devices and this is the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE. Of course this is the big brother of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 which 4G reviewed and concluded “You get the impressive range of features found on Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2 and with 4G LTE support included. Plus you get the superb S-Pen stylus”.

The 4G enabled Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE comes with a 10.1 inch 16M colour PLS full touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, Android v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), the TOUCHWiZ v4.0 user interface, a 1.4GHz quad core processor, 16GB of user memory, 2GB of RAM, a 5 mega-pixel auto focus camera and the innovative S-Pen.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE lands on EE in direct competition with the Apple iPad and although 4G would see the iPad outselling the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE this by no means will be a landslide victory.

The 16GB version of the Apple iPad commands a £50 extra one off payment than the Galaxy Note 10.1 ( £150 compared to £100 for the 8GB deal ) with the monthly costs for both starting at £26 per month for 3GB of data and £36 for 8GB.
