HTC One SV – 4G Phone Now On 4GEE

8th January 2013 knew that the HTC One SV was heading to EE ( which owns Orange and T-Mobile ) and now its been included in EE’s 4G portfolio – it seems to have been added with no hoo-hah from EE at all. The HTC One SV is the second HTC smartphone to launch with 4G support in the UK - after the HTC One XL.

The HTC One SV is a 4G enabled phone but is really a mid-range handset when compared to say the 4G HTC One XL. The HTC One SV is FREE with a contract and the HTC One XL costs only £30 so it’s a no-brainer which one to choose.

HTC One SV – the specification

Having said the HTC One SV is a mid-range handset it is still 4G enabled and will offer download speeds of up to five times faster than 3G and it actually comes with a handy specification for a FREE 4G phone. This is an Android 4G phone coming with Android Ice Cream Sandwich ( Android 4.0 ) which of course can be updated.

The specification includes a 4.3 inch LCD2 touch-screen display ( 800 x 480 pixels resolution ), a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and comes with 1GB of RAM plus 8GB of on-board memory. Memory can be expanded by up to 32GB via a microSD card. The main camera for the HTC One SV is a modest 5 megapixels but it does support one-press Continuous Shooting , VideoPic and offers advanced low-light performance.

HTC One SV – the costs

The HTC One SV is available from EE in Black only at the current time, but may come in a range of colours as shown above such as Pyrenees Blue and Glacier White. EE are selling the HTC One SV for FREE with a monthly contract starting at £36 a month. This comes with unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of 4G mobile data per month. Pay £46 a month and the 4G mobile data per month increases to 3GB a month. will be getting our hands on a review phone in the near future when we can post our HTC One SV 4G Phone Review.
