EE to sell Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ with WiFi Calling and Google Play Music

The big and powerful Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ is almost here and from tomorrow (August 18th) you’ll be able to pre-order it on EE.

There are any number of reasons to pair the phone with EE, but highlights include the fact that it’s amongst the handsets that support EE’s WiFi Calling service, so you can stay in touch and make high-quality WiFi calls using your normal phone number when there’s no signal.

Better yet if you grab it before the 30th of September you’ll also get a six month subscription to Google Play Music, giving you ad-free access to over 30 million streaming songs, plus curated playlists, so you’ll be able to find a soundtrack for any occasion.

Of course you can stream all that music over 4G too and EE is ideal for that, with its widespread and speedy 4G network, which currently covers over 600 major towns and cities across the UK, as well as around 6,000 smaller towns and villages.

Consumer and business customers will be able to pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ in either Gold Platinum or Black Sapphire colours, with the device shipping from the 4th of September. You’ll also be able to order various Samsung accessories for the phone, such as an official wireless charger.

Sharon Meadows, Director of Devices at EE, said: "We’re excited to be launching the new Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, which builds on the success of the Galaxy S6 edge. Its unique dual-curved display, powerful processing capabilities and superfast 4G speeds push the boundaries of smartphone innovation. Combined with the UK’s biggest, fastest and most reliable network, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ on EE offers customers an unrivalled mobile experience.”

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ has a massive 5.7-inch 1440 x 2560 QHD Super AMOLED display, a 2.1GHz octa-core Exynos 7420 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 16 megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilisation, a 5 megapixel front-facing camera, 32 or 64GB of storage, a fingerprint scanner and both fast and wireless charging.

Of course it also has an innovative curved display and a stylish metal and glass build, making it a true phablet flagship for 2015.
