Sony Xperia M2 lands on EE
If you like the look of the Sony Xperia Z2 but can’t afford its top tier price tag then the Xperia M2 could be the phone for you.
With a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and 1GB of RAM it’s reasonably powerful, while its large 4.8 inch 540 x 960 display ensures that media is immersive. It’s plastic but with a stylish, ‘omnibalance’ design and it has an impressive 8 megapixel camera along with the ability to shoot video in 1080p.
Storage isn’t too limited either as there’s 8GB built in along with a microSD card slot and while it currently runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean an upgrade to 4.4.2 KitKat is expected. It has some high end features too like NFC and 4G.
Speaking of 4G, the Sony Xperia M2 has just launched on EE, where you can pair it with the networks superfast 4G service for unparalleled speed and connectivity. 4GEE is currently available in 200 towns and cities with more being added all the time, so it’s the perfect partner for a 4G handset like the Sony Xperia M2.
The price isn’t too shabby either, as the Xperia M2 is available from EE stores, online and telesales in black or white, with prices starting at just £18.99 per month, for which you’ll get 500MB of 4G data, 500 minutes and unlimited texts. However there is a £19.99 upfront charge for the handset.
Perhaps a better deal though would be to spend £29.99 upfront and get the phone on the same £18.99 per month tariff but with 1GB of 4G data, 1000 minutes and unlimited texts. Or if you can stretch a little further still you could get it with 2GB of double speed 4G data, 1000 minutes and unlimited texts for £21.99 per month with a charge of £29.99 upfront.
There are a whole selection of plans though, right up to £37.99 per month for 20GB of double speed 4G, unlimited minutes and unlimited texts, so whatever your budget and requirements you should be able to find a plan to suit.
