The Vodafone GigaCube is available in two versions – 4G and 5G, and they differ in more ways than just that, but both offer a quick and easy way to get your home connected to the internet, with no landline required.
The Vodafone GigaCube 5G supports download speeds of up to 2.8Gbps (though real-world speeds are likely to be much lower, with Vodafone pointing to a max of 1Gbps. That makes it a seriously high-speed device – one that could potentially rival the fastest fibre broadband if you have 5G coverage where you live.
It can also get up to 64 devices online at once, so everything in your home can be connected to the net by it.
The 4G version of the GigaCube meanwhile supports 4G download speeds of up to 1.6Gbps and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps, and it can connect up to 64 devices to the internet at once. Those specs are slightly less impressive then, but should still be plenty for most homes.
Once you receive either GigaCube you basically just plug and play, so no engineer or technical knowledge is needed. Coupled with the option of short-term, flexible plans, this makes the GigaCube a great temporary internet solution, if say you’re in short-term accommodation or just need a connection while you wait for wired internet to get installed.
