The Samsung Galaxy Note II racks up 3 million sales in a few weeks.[/caption]
Samsung Electronics has confirmed that its Samsung Galaxy Note II has sold more than 3 Million units since it went on sale in late September. Samsung also confirmed that sales of the Samsung Galaxy Note II were around 3 times higher than the original Samsung Galaxy Note over the same time period. Samsung are predicting sales of six million units for the Samsung Galaxy Note II in its first 3 months of sales.
This of particular interest to us here at 4G.co.uk as the announcement comes just as the 4G version of the Samsung Galaxy Note went on sale in the UK – the Samsung Galaxy Note II LTE version. The Samsung Galaxy Note II LTE is 4G enabled and work at 4G speeds only on the EE network.
It could be argued that the Samsung Galaxy Note II is in direct competition with Apple’s iPad mini which launched recently. It will be interesting to see how sales of the Samsung Galaxy Note II fare once the iPad mini sales begin to take-off. We will have a better idea in a couple of months to see which will rule the roost.
