Operator Everything Everywhere is to set up a third brand at the same time that it releases its 4G service, according to reports
According to reports, Everything Everywhere is likely to ditch the T-Mobile and Orange names and trade under its own name. But it is also expected that a third brand will be announced later in the year. No more details are forthcoming, although we understand the new brand will be used for its 4G service.
This re branding exercise will not affect the trial stores for Everything Everywhere, which are situated around the UK.
Speculation has grown concerning the branding strategy that Everything Everywhere is planning, after a brand review was carried out and finalised last October. It had been suggested that the Everything Everywhere and T-Mobile names would be ditched in favour of the Orange name.
An Everything Everywhere spokesperson confirmed that a new brand would be launched later in 2012. ‘This new brand will sit alongside our existing brands Orange and T-Mobile,’ they said. More details will be released in due course.
