3G LTE R&D Center in France

The Ministry of Industry in France has announced that Icera, the wireless chipset developer, will start an R&D centre, devoted to 4G/LTE technology, in Sophia Antipolis, in France.

3G LTE Innovation Centre Opens in Boston

US : Verizon Wireless has embarked on a 3G LTE drive with the opening of two new facilities. Verizon has opened its 3G LTE Innovation Centre in Boston and a virtual 3G LTE Innovation Centre which can be accessed by via an online portal.
