US : eCom Inc. and Freedom 4 Wireless™ (F4W) an industry provider and operator of mobile wireless broadband networking solutions and products announced today the release of its 4GEN™ Mobile Broadband Wireless products and solutions. These combined solutions and products are the underlying technology used to deploy F4W mobile broadband wireless solutions for Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, Emergency Response and Disaster Response Agencies. F4W's unique 4G mobile broadband wireless system provides data, video, audio, and voice services to subscribers on the move, at highway speeds. “We are about to see a revolution in command and control systems," said F4W Director Harry Timmons. “The solutions resulting from this agreement will allow law enforcement and first responders access to critical data that otherwise is unavailable" F4W will develop a line of products under its 4GEN™ brand using MeshNetworks’ Mesh Enabled Architecture (MEA™) the world’s first scalable p2p networking technology for mobile broadband networks and MEA enables vehicles, mobile devices and individuals to instantly and securely connect directly with each other and to the public telephone network, Internet and private networks for access to voice, video and data services. MEA also offers built in precision position location - without the use of costly GPS receivers. MEA is unique in the market with its ability to support voice, video, data and position location from a single low-cost, integrated wireless network.
