Various new base stations and wireless antennas have been announced by Powerwave Technologies to sort out the European LTE enhanced network service on the 2600 MHz spectrum. This is because of the growth in mobile web traffic. There has been a universal increase in the number of people using mobile devices to access the internet for a number of different reasons, both personal and business and therefore the Powerwave developments will help network providers cope with this increase. Many people log online whilst out and about to send emails, chat to friends, watch videos, play games, and download content. This uses up a lot of data, especially when it involves multimedia including downloads and videos, so newer and more powerful technologies need to be developed to keep up with the increasing load.
New technological developments have reduced the costs of the network, which benefits both the communications provider and consumer, while improving connection speeds, giving a better online experience for the user. 4G is becoming increasingly popular and will soon to become the dominant technology in the mobile market.
There are both single and multi port antennas being used to provide a better system. They include a much lower interference rate, so there are fewer network problems. The use of port antennas provides a more cost effective solution to any potential issues and are quick and easy to establish and maintain, which improves performance overall. The physical communications towers look much more appealing and take up less space, making this development better for the environment, as they also consume less energy.
