The conference program and dates for 4G World have now been confirmed. It is to be held from September 15 - 18, 2009, in Chicago. The four day event will comprise of the whole 4G ecosystem combining WiMax World, the 15th Annual International Symposium of the Wireless Communications Association International, Mobile Internet World and special training and technical events.

The main aim of 4G World is to give businesses the opportunity to examine 4G strategy and gain a better understanding of how this could be introduced in the future. The event is to be sponsored by more than 250 businesses connected to the field and has been heralded as the largest conference of its kind.

Senior executives and leading experts will be presenting more than 20 case studies as well as keynote presentations. These will include technical and business challenges being faced by 4G, opinions on the future deployment of 4G technologies including WiMax, 3G Long Term Evolution and HSPA+, and how 4G mobile Internet services and applications should be showcased.

As well as case studies and presentations, 4G World will be giving out the 'Best of 4G Awards'. Seven technological areas are recognized:
