ZTE have officially launched their first 4G phone called the
ZTE Grand S. Earlier leaks had surfaced about the ZTE Grand X Pro and ZTE also unveiled the World’s Smallest 4G Dongle in December.
The
ZTE Grand S, as you may have guessed, was unveiled at CES and is another Android smartphone which features a large 5 inch touch screen display and seems aligned to do battle with the Samsung's Galaxy Note 2.
ZTE Grand S – the specification
The
ZTE Grand S comes 4G enabled which must be one of the most wanted features for any smartphone launching in 2013. It has a 5 inch touch screen display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution which makes it the first ZTE smartphone we are aware of with full HD resolution.
ZTE are reporting that the Grand S is the thinnest full HD quad-core smartphone around of a comparable display screen size. The power comes from its quad-core Snapdragon processor running at 1.7GHz with 2GB of RAM with a supporting 16GB of on-board memory.
The main camera on the
ZTE Grand S is 13 megapixels ( which seems to be the entry point these days ) and includes panoramic shooting and face recognition capabilities. There is also Dolby Digital surround sound.
ZTE Grand S – price and availability
The Grand S will firstly launch in China sometime before the end of March and other areas thereafter. Pricing is currently not available so far.
