Samsung Galaxy SIII 4G LTE Coming Soon

The latest version of the Samsung Galaxy SIII – the 4G LTE version - is now on sale in Australia and offers 4G speeds on the Optus 4G network in Australia.

It’s good to hear that the Samsung Galaxy SIII 4G LTE edition is being sold as this means it wont be too long until we here in the UK get a chance to buy one.

To-date we have only heard of the 4G edition of the Samsung Galaxy SIII coming to EE. This was confirmed at the time of EE’s pending 4G network launch in the UK – more on the Samsung Galaxy SIII 4G LTE version here.

The Samsung Galaxy SIII 4G LTE which will definitely be sold via EE and will come in three colours Marble White, Pebble Blue and an exclusive Titanium Grey edition. It weighs 131 grams and measures 136.6 x 70.6 x 8.6 mm which is a great weight and size for such a powerful 4G phone.

The Samsung Galaxy SIII 4G LTE comes fully loaded with Android OS 4.1 ( Jellybean ) and is powered by a 1.4GHz Quad Core Exynos Processor made by Samsung themselves. The display is a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen with Gorilla Glass.

Looking at the snappers, these feature a 8 megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and support for full HD video recording and comes with a 1.9 megapixel front facing camera plus LED flash.

Connectivity is via 4G LTE, HSPA+ and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. This means that the Samsung Galaxy SIII 4G LTE will work on EE’s forthcoming 4G LTE network and also on 3G.

Memory wise the smartphone has 2 Gigabytes of RAM, 16 Gigabytes of internal memory and comes with a Micro SD card slot ( up to 64Gigabytes ) and a Dropbox cloud storage of 50 Gigabytes.

It’s great to hear that the Samsung Galaxy SIII 4G LTE is now on sale, albeit in Australia, but 4G know that we will get one soon to do our Samsung Galaxy SIII 4G LTE phone review. This will definitely be in 2012 but it all depends when EE launch its 4G wireless network which is confirmed as sometime in 2012.
