Nokia Lumia 930 comes to EE with a bunch of extras

21st July 2014
Nokia Lumia 930 – the company’s latest flagship 4G smartphone

The Nokia Lumia 930 is finally here and what better way to enjoy it than on EE, with its widespread 4G coverage. The network offers the Lumia 930 free of charge on a 24 month plan for £29.99 per month. Aside from the phone itself that gets you 1000 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of 4G data.

Now, that’s a pretty good deal already but it gets a whole lot sweeter, because if you buy the phone before the end of July you’ll also get a free wireless kit worth £130. This includes a Nokia wireless charger, a Nokia mini speaker and a £20 Windows Phone store voucher, so you can get set up with all the apps you need at no extra cost.

That’s not bad for a brand new flagship smartphone. Doing the maths you’re looking at paying £719.76 over 24 months, but then the phone retails for around £450 and with the £130 worth of extras on top you’re looking at a total outlay of £580 if you buy all these things outright. So essentially with this deal you’re only paying the remainder (£139.76) for all your texts, minutes and data and you’d pay far more than that on pay as you go.

Of course that all assumes that you actually want the free speakers, charger and voucher, but even if you don’t it’s still a tempting offer.

It’s a good handset too, with a quad-core 2.2GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, a 5.0 inch 1080p display and an impressive 20 megapixel PureView camera with optical image stabilisation and a dual-LED flash. Combine all of that with a 4G connection and you’re looking at a top flight mobile experience.
