Nokia confirmed that both the Nokia Lumia 920 LTE and the Nokia Lumia 820 LTE had begun shipping this week. Both smartphones are 4G enabled and are a welcome addition to the portfolio of 4G phones, 4G tablets and devices that EE now offer.
To coincide with the arrival of the 4G enabled Nokia Lumia smartphones, Nokia has released a video which can be viewed below :
The Nokia Lumia 920 LTE is the flagship phone in the Lumia series and both these Lumias are Windows Phone 8 smartphones with the Lumia 920 LTE confirmed as going on sale on the 2nd November and the Lumia 820 LTE going on sale later on the 9th November. Currently, it seems the flagship Nokia Lumia 920 may well be an exclusive with EE only. The Nokia Lumia 920 ( left above ) and the Nokia Lumia 820 ( right above ) can be seen above.
It worthy to note that the above smartphones are 4G enabled and only suitable to benefit from 4G speeds if you sign up to a deal with EE. Then you will get 4G download speeds up to five times faster than the same phones on a 3G network.
The deals don’t look too bad to us here at 4G.co.uk. You can get the flagship Nokia 920 LTE with unlimited texts and voice calls, unlimited Wi-Fi via BT and 3GB of 4G mobile data all for £46 a month with an upfront cost of £20. The smaller less featured Nokia Lumia 820 LTE can be yours with unlimited texts and voice calls, unlimited Wi-Fi via BT, 500MB of 4G mobile data all for £36 a month. This is a no brainer, take the 920 all day every day.
The specification for the Nokia Lumia 920 LTE is impressive. It comes with Windows Phone 8, PureView technology with a Carl Zeiss lens, a PureMotion HD+ display which Nokia say is the world’s brightest, clearest, fastest touchscreen ( 4.5-inch LCD IPS touchscreen ) , a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of on-board RAM, 32GB of memory, 8.7 Megapixel Carl Zeiss Camera with LED Flash, Clear Black display and features built-in wireless charging.
4G.co.uk see the Nokia Lumia 920 LTE as an impressive 4G enabled smartphone and look forward to carrying out our Nokia Lumia 920 LTE review in the very near future.
