Huawei and EE have started a neat 4G mobile network and 4G phone marketing campaign which is called “4G Test Pilots Wanted”. The campaign features a series of road shows supported by an on-line, print, and social media campaign. Last Friday the roadshow went to Strafford shopping centre in London with more events planned.
The “4G Test Pilots Wanted” campaign involves both EE ( which own Orange and T-Mobile ) and Huawei promoting the recent launch of EE’s 4G mobile network and Huawei’s 4G products i.e. the Huawei Ascend P1 4G phone, the E589 4G mobile Wi-Fi device and the E392 4G dongle.
The theme of the “4G Test Pilots Wanted” campaign features a series of photos showing how people’s faces are distorted by the “G-force” of the Huawei 4G phone they are holding – as shown above. 4G is currently around 5 times faster than a standard 3G network.
